We at Youth Journey believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins and the sins of the whole world, and in 3 days, rose again! We believe that by faith in Christ we are saved! We believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit! We eagerly and humbly reach out in love to all as we serve God by serving others.

What's new this week at Youth Journey...
Week of May 14th - May 20th, 2012
Hello Dear Family!
Happy Camping! We are off this Sunday as the church is away at the Family Camp! An amazing weekend with family, friends, guests and great fellowship and some amazing food! We'll be off next Sunday as well, while away for the holiday visiting our friends in Baja, Mexico!
* Memorial Day Weekend Baja Trip is set as we go to serve Campo Esperanza with a 10,000 person event, build for La Hermosa Church, and visit the families in their new homes! Cost is $160 per person, with missions scholarships available. Final RSVPs now due - Click Here for the video made by Campo Esperanza.
HELP IS NEEDED! Youth Journey is serving the Children's ministry at JCC this summer! We need at least two servants for 9:30am services to run the games for the kids on the following dates: June 10, June 17, July 8, July 15, August 5, and Sept 2. Sign up now with Chris!
What is Growing In Christ and "DC"?
"DC" is the name for Discipleship/Confirmation where the 7th and 8th grade students go through a year in the Old Testament and another year in the New Testament where they can grow as devoted followers of Christ and make the confirmed choice for their own lives under God. Growing in Christ is the small group study for High School students where they can dig deep into the fundamentals of the Christian life by application and Bible study.

We're off this Sunday at the Family Camping Trip! Join us on Sunday, June 3rd at Youth Journey Sunday Services! Jr. High continues DC and High School continues the new young adult led small group through "Growing in Christ". We'll be in the Youth Room at our church location (2761 190th St. in RB) at 11am! * @ JR. HIGH - "DC" (Discipleship/Confirmation) will have a special visit from Pastor Jim about Baptism!
* @ HIGH SCHOOL - On Sunday, June 3rd will have a special visit from Pastor Jim about Baptism before we continue the "Growing in Christ" small group, which is led by JCC young adults! All youth will be given a booklet at the service as needed.
* Memory Verse for May is Colossians 2:6-7 - "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness"

* Memorial Day Weekend Trip to Baja! From Saturday, May 26-Monday, May 28 serving at the "Harvest Crusade" like event with over 10,000 needing to be served and building projects for the church, and meeting a new children's home! $160 per person, RSVPs now due!
* Fishfest 2012! is on Saturday, June 23rd in Irvine! Featuring TobyMac, Sanctus Real, Phil Wickham, Lincoln Brewster and many more! We will try and set up group tickets for about $10-11. Fun for the whole family!
* Paintball Wars! On Saturday, June 30th we take our annual trip to Hollywood Sports Park and hit the paintball fields as we go to war in fellowship, fun and excitement!
* FOA Camp Will be the weekend of Friday, August 10th to Sunday, August 12th. Details are on the way!
* Hume Lake Summer Camp! Official dates are August 12th to August 18th. A graduation celebration for DC students at Meadow Ranch, and a summer experience for High School at Ponderosa! $75 deposit now due.
* Outreach Youth Clubs! Every week we have open youth clubs for everyone to come and serve, have fun, invite friends, meet new friends and grow in Christ. 5 weekly programs. Click here!
