MARK THESE DATES! Here are some important dates to mark down and prepare for!
* TEENS N' TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE! FREE!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO SERVE AT THE EVENT!!! FREE conference is on Saturday, February 4th! The "Teens N' Technology" conference is hosted by our partners at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church in partnership with several other fantastic organizations. Impacting Hearts is a featured speaker at the conference, and we are also running a booth and if all goes well, we'll have our blow-up boxing ring as well! So we need volunteers and youth to come and not only enjoy the free event, but also to serve the event as volunteers!
* Also, this Sunday, January 29th from 7-8pm, Impacting Hearts will be on the radio on the talk show, "An Evening with Pastor G" on KJLH. Pastor Lamar Simmons is featured, and will be promoting the event, and introducing Impacting Hearts, and our YCNs on the air!!! Catch the show LIVE, on 103.3FM!!!

On Thursday, March 8th from 7-9pm, we will be showing the Oscar nominated documentary, "Undefeated", a real life story about 3 very different and struggling young men, who play football with a new coach, as they fight through circumstance, despair, bad decisions, heartache and much, much more in a battle to survive. The movie will be shown in the sanctuary at Ascension Lutheran Church in Torrance (17910 Prairie Ave.) and a pizza dinner will be provided. We will be inviting all our outreach youth clubs for foster and under-privileged youth, while meeting the two directors of the film, Dan Lindsay and TJ Marting as they introduce the movie, and afterwards sit down with us for a Q & A.

4. The teaching team - Hear from our teaching members sharing the Word!
5. The prayer team - Join us for a time of thanskgiving and supplication as we praise the Lord and pray for our friends down in Mexico!

OUTREACH YOUTH CLUB NIGHTS (YCNs)
We are a ministry that is committed to living out the Gospel in all we do and say. We're not perfect, but as the faithful, we accept the responsibility of the grace and salvation given to us by Christ alone. Therefore, we "GO OUT" in a dedicated effort, to preach the Gospel and make disciples at 5 weekly youth clubs in partnership with volunteers from other churches and communities! We have an incredible time, meeting new friends, building relationships and serving the Lord! We partner with Impacting Hearts and Emerging Light to run several youth clubs for foster youth. Help us serve others by sharing the Gospel to those in need!
YCN Agenda: Start times vary depending on the location, but we generally meet and execute "mixers" (organized group games or activities that bolster teamwork) and always have dinner together. The night is closed with an inspiring message given by one of the volunteers or a special guest speaker.
* YCN Purpose: To serve as an outreach for the whole church where we can build relationships founded on faith. Where we come and serve be simply "being there", participating, and loving each other, as well as others in the community and specifically foster youth.
