Teen Ministry from Journey Covenant Church!
We at Youth Journey believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins and the sins of the whole world, and in 3 days, rose again! We believe that by faith in Christ we are saved! We believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit! We eagerly and humbly reach out in love to all as we serve God by serving others.

What's new this week at Youth Journey...
Week of January 30th - February 5th, 2012
Hello Dear Family!
DC continues as we discover and are empowered by the growing of the Church and High School is getting ready for the launch of our upcoming "Growing in Christ" small group studies that will run for 13-20 weeks and be led by our very own young adults! In the mean time, we continue to serve God by serving others, reaching deep down from the strength that only Christ can give and the hope that only salvation provides! We have a FREE event this Saturday, where we can serve others and be educated as the church, families, mentors, mentees, leaders and growing disciples of Jesus Christ!
Teens N' Technology FREE Conference! FREE!
FREE conference is this Saturday, February 4th! The "Teens N' Technology" conference is hosted by our partners at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church in partnership with Break the Cycle, the Trevor Project and many more. Impacting Hearts is a featured speaker at the conference, and we are also running a booth and if all goes well, we'll have our blow-up boxing ring as well! So we need volunteers and youth to come and not only enjoy the free event, but also to serve the event as volunteers! Please RSVP and come and serve, enjoy the event, and keep learning!

Baja Mission Reunion & Supporter Party!!
On Saturday, February 11th at 5pm at Journey Covenant Church (2761 190th St. in Redondo Beach), we invite all the team, our supporters, friends and family to come and celebrate all that God did on the trip, where we will share testimonies, worship together, have some very "happy family time", share news and updates and present the slide shows, share dinner together and have a blast! Join us as we celebrate!

Join us this Sunday, February 5th, 2012 at Youth Journey Sunday Services! Jr. High continues DC and High School will be preparing for a young adult led small group through "Growing in Christ". We'll be in the Youth Room at our church location (2761 190th St. in RB) at 11am! Just look for the big banner on the wall! For more details, Click Here!
* @ JR. HIGH - "DC" (Discipleship/Confirmation) continues with New Testament Session 19 on Sunday! Keep up with your daily readings and make the mentor meeting at home!
* @ HIGH SCHOOL - Will join main JCC service at 9:30am until we begin the "Growing in Christ" small group on February 12th which will be led by JCC young adults!
* Memory Verse for January is Luke 10:2 - "He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

* Teens N' Technology Conference FREE EVENT on Saturday, February 4th from 9am-3pm in Los Angeles. We are serving as volunteers, serving food, setting up, enjoying the conference, runing a booth and blow-up boxing ring!
* Baja Mission Reunion & Supporter Party! Sat, Feb 11th at 5pm at JCC, but we will show the slide shows, share the vision, and gather in thanksgiving and prayer and celebration to reflect on the trip!
* Movie Screening for "UNDEFEATED"! FREE EVENT on Thursday, March 8th at Ascension Lutheran Church from 7-9pm!
* Hume Lake Summer Camp! From August 12th-August 18th, an incredible journey together!
* Outreach Youth Clubs! Every week we have open youth clubs for everyone to come and serve, have fun, invite friends, meet new friends and grow in Christ. 5 weekly programs. Click here!

Want to know what we learned this winter? OUR GOD IS GREATER!
We are back from the journey God led us through this winter between Christmas and New Years. We celebrate and rejoice in thanksgiving and awe of He who was, and is and is to come! Through Him, we built not 3, but 4 homes for families, served over 40 kids at Casa Gabriel, and served over 300 people at our first ever Worship Event at Campo Esperanza for the villagers and local church! The mayor of Ensenada came out to dedicate one of the homes, and sent a representative to the event later that night to present letters of recognition! To God and God alone, be all the glory!

* Baja Mexico Ministry continues year-round as we partner with Baja Bound and La Hermosa Church, to serve Campa Esperanza (Village of Hope), Casa Gabriel and the local villages!
* SUPPORTING Ishmael, from Zimbabwe that our teens are sponsoring via World Vision! Constant prayer and support needed!
