YOUTH JOURNEY MISSIONS TRIP TO BAJA MEXICO!
From December 28th, 2008 - January 2nd, 2009, we're taking a road trip to Baja, Mexico and building a home for a family of 14 and a family of 8 as we reach out to the children in the orphanage as we share the love of Christ!

THIS JUST IN -
On Sunday, December 28th, we leave for our Mission's trip! We first meet at JCC at 10am and head to SBPC! We will join their service at 11am and they will sing and pray to commission our team for departure together! Then we'e off to San Diego and then Baja, Mexico! What an exciting time to celebrate Jesus' birthday by serving Him!
CHRISTMAS IN ENSENADA!
Baja Bound's team from Rancho Vista Church in San Diego went down and delivered toys for Christmas to the children down in Ensenada!

Update from Mexico -
The words that kept coming up that Pastor John heard, were "Mui frio"… meaning "VERY COLD". These families have no insulation, and know that we are coming soon. But we can't be there soon enough. Pray for them. But note that especially at night, just like out here, it gets quite cold! In fact, did you all notice the rain that just hit us right after I told you how "beautiful" it would be in Mexico? Be prepared, but also, humble yourself in remembering what these families are struggling with, waiting for our help. Go to the online BLOG for details on our Team and Sunday's departure notes.

Baja Bound Ministries supports the communities and families down in Baja Mexico by building up their economy and fulfilling needs! Youth Journey (teen ministry of Journey Covenant Church) is on board to build a home for a family of 14 (3 adults and 11 children) who need a home desperately. We will also help the local children's home as we serve with the love of Christ! We will be gathering in force to travel to their ministry and assist with building, cleaning, serving, teaching, loving and sharing while we take our faith into action!

When is the trip? Sunday, December 28th, 2008 - Friday, January 2nd, 2009
Where? Baja Mexico
Who? Any teens and adults willing to serve Christ.
What? We will bring the love of God to those in need! We'll specifically be building at least one home for a family of 11 children and 3 adults that have nothing. We'll be teaching Vocational Bible School (VBS) at a local Children's Home/Orphanage while playing with the kids, and serving the community with love.
Why? To help share Christ with so many who do not know Him. We expect God to stretch us as we serve cross-culturally!

Vocational Bible School Teachings
All are PDF documents. Vocational Bible Studies are teaching lessons specifically aimed at children of all ages! Our volunteers will assist the primary teacher and/or translater from Baja Bound Ministries by loving, playing with and spending time with the children of the orphanage. Teams will rotate!
