SUNDAY SERVICE AT YOUTH JOURNEY! NEW FORMAT FOR SUNDAY SERVICES has begun! As we welcome new members to Youth Journey in our 6th grade ranks starting this summer, we begin our new format! We all meet together for opening prayer, worship songs, announcements, and then break into the Jr. High and High School ministries! There will be separate teachings for both groups, with a teacher for each! High School will have full teaching with breakout groups, while Jr. High will have shorter teachings with extended breakout group times for girls and boys! So get ready for a fantastic summer and rest of 2010! Join us on Sunday, August 1st as we complete the "STAY" series! We join together and sing in worship, open with prayer, and share announcements. Then we split the groups with High School and Jr. High teachings. We're going to learn that Jesus asks us to do 10 things to "STAY" confident while living in a chaotic world, and the last thing he asks us, is to STAY CONVINCED. SUNDAY TEACHING SCHEDULE: So we came back from the holidays, and an incredible missions trip that God used to bless our whole church! SO.... WHAT NOW? The commitment we are making is to be the same missionairies 24/7! Jesus says in John 15:5, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." So how do we remain in Him? That is the focus of our next teaching series called, "STAY". The first two Sundays of each month, the Jr. High group will have their small group discussion/teachings separately in teh FOA room! They will continue until they finish the "STARTING: to go where God wants you to be" series!
